Video: Don't Ignore Cat or Dog Bad Breath

Bad breath, or halitosis, is often the first sign of dental disease pet owners notice. The smell is frequently caused by trapped food and/or odor-producing bacteria in the mouth. Persistent bad breath can also be an indication of other serious diseases affecting your pet's body, such as kidney disease.

If your pet has persistently bad breath, don't wait for it to get worse. Get it checked out by your veterinarian so no one will ever want to dodge your pet's kisses!
